الأساطير: المصالحة | MYTHS: Al-Musalaha

ما زال بإمكاننا سماع أصداء أهازيج أجدادنا في أحيائنا وحاراتنا، يتلاشى منها أشياء عبر الزمن، فلا يبقى إلا بضعة أبيات. تخفي هذه الأصداء وراءها قصصاً وأساطير كثيرة. قد يعاد سماعها أو إحياؤها، أو ترفض أن تموت أصلاً. في هذه الحلقة نلتمس بعضاً مما وصلنا وما نعرفه عن غناء المعنّى في سوريا ونتحدث عن حاضر هذا التراث.

في «الأساطير» وهي السلسلة الأولى من بودكاست #مدوّنات، نبحث عن أساطير حضرية نراها من خلال قصص شخصية وتجارب معاصرة وإنتاجات وممارسات ثقافية.

بودكاست «مدوّنات» هو أرشيف حيّ يجمع في مساهماته توثيقًا للفضاء الثقافي المعاصر في المنطقة العربية؛ يتألّف من سلسلتيّ “الأساطير” و”البدائل” وهو النتاج التجريبي لعمل المشاركين في الدورة الأولى من مشروع “مدوّنات” الذين التقوا في تونس في كانون الثاني/يناير 2020 وهم مجموعة من الباحثين والكتّاب والصحفيين والفنانين العاملين في القطاع الثقافي والفني من العراق وسوريا واليمن والجزائر ومصر وفلسطين.

مشروع مدوّنات من إنتاج المورد الثقافي والمجلس الثقافي البريطاني. محتوى هذا البودكاست لا يعبّر بالضرورة عن رؤية أو أفكار أيّ من المؤسستين.

If we listen, we can still hear the music of our ancestors in our neighbourhoods. Many parts of their songs have disappeared over time leaving only a verse or two. But behind these echoes reside many ancient tales and myths. They can be revived and heard again, or simply refuse to die. In this episode, we take a glimpse of the centuries-old mu’anna song genre in Syria as it has come down to us and discuss the current fate of this heritage.

In “Myths”, the first of the #Mudawanat podcast series, we look into urban myths through personal anecdotes, contemporary social experiences and cultural productions and practices.

Mudawanat is a living archive of contributions that document the contemporary culture scene in the Arab region. It consists of two series, “Myths” and “Alternatives”, and it is the pilot product resulting from the work of participants in the first round of the Mudawanat program. Brought together in Tunisia in January 2020, they are a group of researchers, writers, journalists and artists involved in arts and culture in Iraq, Syria, Yemen, Algeria, Egypt and Palestine.
