دردشة مع الفنان طلال قنطار عن مراحل تشكل شخصيته الموسيقية والتي جزأها الى ثلاثة أقسام: الموسيقى العربية القديمة في عمر الطفولة ، والموسيقى الغربية في الثمانينيات، و تأثره بأسبانيا لاحقاً. يتحدث طلال عن تجربتة مع فضل شاكر، راغب علامة، فارس كرم، و جاد شويري، إضافة الى تأثره باللحن أكثر من الكلمة في أغلب الأحيان. أدخل أيضاً بنقاش مع طلال حول التلحين من القلب او العقل و كيفية تأثير الجزء الأكاديمي في التلحين على البعد العاطفي للحن. أخيراً… و باختصار … قررنا أن نعمل معاً قريباً!
In conversation with songwriter and performer Talal Kontar. We talk about the stages that shaped his artistic identity, beginning with his early influences of Arabic classics during his childhood to the Pop music of the ’70s, ’80s, and Spanish music after he had moved to Barcelona, Spain. We also talk about how he transitioned to songwriting full-time when he returned to Lebanon and how he ended up working with Fadl Shaker, Jad Shwery and eventually with Ragheb Alameh, Fares Karam and many more artists. We also cover Talal’s approach to songwriting, which heavily favors music and melody over lyrics. A collaboration with Talal seems like a natural next step .. stay tuned ; )
