In conversation with one of my dearest friends and mentor, marketing and radio veteran Sammy Simpson. Sammy shares his beginnings in radio as an on-air personality to how he found his voice and calling transitioning into promotions and marketing. He highlights his successes and struggles along the way while moving across stations and markets within the United States. We also discuss how our paths crossed at Z104 in Washington DC to how we both ended up at iHeart Radio’s Flagship Top 40 station, Z100 in New York City and how influential Sammy has been and continues to be on my personal and professional growth and development both as a mentor and trusted friend. Sammy currently resides and works in Raleigh, North Carolina as the Brand/Content Manager at Capitol Broadcasting Company.
