Amidst the crunch of COVID19, restaurants are having a hard time staying afloat. Curfews, lock-downs, delivery apps not able to cope, the list doesn’t end. I wanted to find out more about this and compare the situation between Saudi Arabia and Dubai. My two guests helped us know more about that by bringing their expertise to the table. 

Samantha Wood, founder of FooDiva.net: a British-Greek-Cypriot resident of Dubai and wears a number of hats – a food writer, marketing consultant, and event organizer with 25+ years of experience in the United Kingdom and the Middle East. Having left the hospitality PR world, she set up her own business nine years ago – an impartial restaurant review website, FooDiva (www.foodiva.net) that has collected 12 awards.

and Ebrahim Hashim, CEO of Food Passion ME  , a Saudi food consultant and co-founder of two restaurant concepts in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
