Anxiety in both it’s English form and it’s Arabic forms ( قلق and توتر  ) are words we colloquially use to describe a mild unease or worry. Properly used, it incorporates both the physical and the emotional unpleasant feelings relating to worry.  For many people, though, anxiety is neither mild nor quickly passing; it’s a very large part of their lives which they need to adapt to and work with.
