As South Sudan celebrates its 9th independence day, the world’s newest country to exist is still facing many challenges, conflicts with North Sudan and yet to rise as a strong African nation in a very crucial part of the continent.

– What has changed for South Sudanese after the independence in 2011?

All these questions and more are answered by Dau Doldol who is a South Sudanese who had to leave his homeland during the war, ending up to be an activist, helping the African community in the US through many organizations.
