14-The work was so well done that those shoes were also sold very quickly.
15- And so it went on and on. Instead of
being a very poor shoemaker, he became a very rich shoemaker.
16- His shoes were so well made that even the queen herself wore them.
17- That night the shoemaker said to his wife, “We must find out who makes the shoes.”
18- So one night they hid behind a curtain, where they could watch the table and not be seen.
19- At midnight, two little elves jumped through the window.
20- They went jumping and dancing up to the table.
21- They took the leather and began to work.
23- And in no time, the work was all done.
24- The tiny elves ran about, jumping and dancing, jumping and dancing.
25-Then, suddenly, they were gone.
